The Beijing tunnel section of the Beijing-Tangshan intercity railway has completed 50% of the total project. The main structure will be completed by the end of this year, laying the foundation for opening by the end of 2025. By then, the railway will start from the Beijing Urban Sub-Center railyway station and end at the Tangshan railyway station in Tangshan City, Hebei Province. It passes through Tongzhou District, Beijing, Langfang City, Hebei Province, and Baodi District, Tianjin. The total length of the route is approximately 148.7 kilometers, with a designed maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
