Longtanxihu Park

With a forest coverage rate of 56%, there are more than 30,000 square meters of green land. The most famous scenery of the park is “Liu An Feng He”. There are two causeways on the lake and the south one is about 130 meters and the north one is about 210 meters. “Liu An Feng He” means there are lotus planted along the causeways. At the end of the causeways, there is an island.

The whole park divide into four parts: Liuhe Pavilion, Hetang Yuese, Nanshan and Beishan. Liuhe Pavilion is the main scenery of the park where precious species trees like Metasequoia glyptostroboides, ginkgo were plated here.

Built in 1986, Longtanxihu Park used to be part of Longtan Park until Longtanxihu Management Department was established in 1991. Now the park belongs to Dongcheng District.

Transportation: Take Bus No. 6, 8, 12, 60, 116, 750, 807 to Beijing Youleyuan Station and walk west about 200 meters.
